The very Official 1st 09S75 Class Outing!
It was pot luck, at Yi Wen's. Thanks man!
Watched Land of the Lost today! After extra classes and amateur (its just me, not Yi Wen) Squash at school. Watched the movie at Plaza Singapura with Clement, Nicole and Hui Xin. HX was lateee, but managed to be seated moments before the movie began. Land of the Lost was hilarious! Slightly retro ring to it (probably the music), its a adaptation of the old one (it was monochromatic back then). Haha. Brad Siberling, who also directed The Series of Unfortunate Events (another movie I love) was the director. There was witty, sexual and slap-stick comedy all-in-one! But loving a movie like Land of the Lost is an acquired taste.
Oli came over and we went to Cold Storage Jelita to get ingredients for the brownies and chicken wings. Turned out to be quite expensive it total. Ah well.
We added Captain Crunch Cereal to it to make it crunchy, which was an instant success (well, there was baking time). All the food took really long to c0ok. The exact duration of the Get Smart movie. Haha. "Easter Islands, 99!"
We were approximately less than 2 hours late. Damn brownies. The gathering was fun! Bridge, Indian Poker, force feeding the lsoer to drink weirder and more disgusting concoctions as the game progressed, and the good ol' Mah Jong. Its qutie fun even though I don't know the chinese terms. Oli came hogging the dice! Won quite a bit of profit, which is Kong's cash in the first place. Jon decided to sleep over at Wen's. Haha. Jie Qi, Il Shan and Fifi were single-handedly (each offering one hand) played the piano. The tempo went very off but you could still figure out the song. Heh. Jeez, these people play the piano up to grade million! I should've sticked to an instrument. Hope this doesn't mean I have commitment issues. :/

Preparations are being made.
Even if there's other work to be done, tests to study for or just life to cath up with, those things are second to what is happening this Monday.

I miss Aunty Estella very badly. She has practically watched me grow up. Ever since back at Dover when she first came (she told me once) that my older siblings were hiding under the dinner table cheekily afraid of the new maid and i was playing with my toys along in a room. That was when she became a member of the family. However, her after many contract renewals and years of extensions of living with us she decided to go work at Spain hoping that the higher pay would well support her family better than her current revenue. The agency she worked with was very inefficient and kept postponing when she would leave for Spain and work for her new family. We still allowed her to stay even though the Anneline had already arrived and began working. I still remember the day of her flight, I was at Tanglin having fencing practice away from my phone. She tried to call but I didn't answer. I only realised that she was flying off that evening when I checked for missed calls, but she had already boarded the plane.
Now here whereabouts are pretty much unknown. We can hardly communicate, unsure if the agency had kept their word and sent her to Spain as planned.
Somehow her leaving our family hasn't come to a closure for me and hopefully this may help a bit.
Thank you Aunty Estella for everything.
