Met up with Amanda, Alex and their Dad at West Mall yesterday to watch Speed Racer. YAY! They were waiting at Mos. At first when i was on the bus, Amanda called to ask me how much longer i was going to take to reach. She said her Dad was angry and impatient, she put him on the phone.
"Hello? Yuqi, it's okay. Take your time. It's better to be safe than late. But you have to treat us to dinner. Haha." Her father with a heavy Indian accent.

After the movie, I went over to Grand's to sleepover. Watched Indy 2 in the morning. I missed it when they showed it on channel 5 but my Grandpa taped it, God Bless him :D!
Went to Serene's for chinese tuition at 1pm.

Movie Marathon! XD
Ironman and Speed Racer are really good! Ironman had this whole rockish and i-don't-care-attitude going on and Speed Racer was a more of a mix of retro-plasticky-flashy-happy-yet-sad-action. I think they both deserve 3 1/2 stars. However, i've got a soft spot in my heart for larger than life toy car movies with a good ol' matrix swirl to it. :D
The day was pretty long. Met up with Naimah first to collect the tickets. Followed by Amanda, then the rest. We had little time to commune before the movie. Jin's brother tagged along. He's somehow less cute than i imagined. Maybe its cos he's called "Huggy(?)" for short. Heh. Yamunna and Simin were late. But just in time for a little of the movie trailers and ads before the movie. Held everyone back for the after-the-credits extra. BIG BIG revealation. But i don't think everyone got it. Must be cos of the lack of Marvel knowledge. Took one quick group photo before letting Jin, Jon and the rest to rush of to whatever plans they had after. Naimah, Jennifer and I sped off to watch Speed Racer.
So satisfied. First movie marathon in theatres. I hope those who came today had fun. But like i said, it could've been more fun if we had more time before the movie to play.

4E1 Ironman Movie Outing tomorrow. Half the class is going. Oh well. Kinda excited. Going to watch Speed Racer after the Ironman movie. YEAH! MOVIE MARATHON!!! XD
I'm considering to get a Nitendo DS. I know its childish, but its a pretty cool gadget. Anyway, the Speed Race Videogame is only on Wii and DS. Heh. I also want to get the Speed Racer hotwheels. The one with the transparent Mach 4 and Mach 6 set and Taejo's car (but i can't find it anywhere!)
Got new shoes today with my mum. Its white, red and silver. I could've picked the white, black and silver one which looked alot cooler. But I chose the red one cos its a kind of Speed Racer tribute. Haha. Yes, i'm obsessed.
Jonathan said that Cloverfield rocked. Haha. YES! I SOOO TOLD YOU SO! Those who've missed out this awesome movie, please go rent or buy the dvd asap (when its on sale). Its something you don't really have to watch in theatres cos its a 'video' anyway. Heh.

MIDS ARE OVER! OVER OVER OVER! O-V-E-R, ADIOS AMIGO!
Haha. A Math was reasonably challenging. Gave up for the Geometrical Proofs. Did really get the last question about the graph thing. Guess its true, what my tuition teacher says. You got to practice and work hard to get the A1 you deserve. :/ Chinese was its normal 'What-the-hell-is-this?-Aiya-just-copy-the-entire-sentence-or-pick-whatever-you-think-looks-good' difficulty. Kinda let Lady Luck have a go at it. Its too troublesome for me to even read the passage when i know i'm not going to understand it entirely, which takes up quite a fair bit of time. Had 30 minutes left after completing the paper (didn't leave any question left unanswered this time. Kinda felt a sense of accomplishment. Haha.) so i just doodled Speed Racer all over the cover page of the question booklet.
Suppose to watch Speed Racer today. But people just couldn't make it. Angry at Jin not because he didn't want to watch the movie (that only made me slightly disappointed) but for the fact that he didn't reply my smses or even call to tell me the night that i smsed. I just get really annoyed when they tell me on the day itself and i have not enough time to thing of doing something else worthy of my time. Jonathan is another person who fails to reply his smses. When you know he doesn't want to come, he'll ignore ALL your smses and phone calls and apologise to you the next day. I mean, GOD! Can't you just pluck up what ever courage is left in you to sms a reason why you don't want or can't or are not going? Jonathan is starting to get it, he's starting to reply saying he can't go because of so and so or what and what. Polite boy, isn't he? Let's hope Jin gets it too. Well, this is just my point of view. They may have valid reasons for not replying, AT LEAST they apologised.The guys had this sports marathon thing, suggested by Alvin. I think its pretty cool, but i don't seek solace in indulging myself in long hours of straineous activities with other actively guys like myself. Too big the crowd. Saw Alvin's brothers- Eric and Daniel. All of them don't look like siblings at all!
Went to Vivo with Charmaine, Jennifer, Nicholas Chung and Shaula. Ate at
Sake Sushi which ripped a whole in my pocket. Each person had to pay $18.75! Damn you rising cost of rice! We should've eaten at
Superdogs! After that, we went to raid Toys 'r' us. When the fun ended, we sent Shaula to the interchange. Went back to Vivo to do some DVD shopping. Took 61 back home with Charmaine, while Jenn and Nicholas went to the interchange.
Dropped off at Jelita. Met up with Jessie who just bought a slice of cake at Secret Recipe. Did some swinging and talked to her. Its nice to just talk to someone about stuff and they have a neutral point of view. She said she watched Speed Racer at Vivo today. She said it was okay. Storyline is alright whereas she thought it was too colourful and fake. But that's what the Wachowski Brothers are trying to create. An anime-ish look to it to retain its Orgin's values- Maha Go Go!. Oh well. Its all on personal opinion. I'm not going to have high expectations for the movie, giving it a well deserved 3 1/2 stars, but i'm going to enjoy every bit of the Wachowski Brother's creativity, passion and kick-ass CGI manipulation skills! Hell Yea!Excited about- Speed Racer! The Dark Knight! The Fall! Accuracy of Death!

Wow. History went quite smoothly. Not well, but smoothly. Yay. However for A Math, didn't know how to do 3 questions (which i kinda knew how to solve AFTER the paper). That totals up to a lost of 11 marks (not including mistakes). ARGH. Studied for Physics but it went so slowly that i kinda gave up. Stopped at Kinematics. It's really difficult. I can't understand! Why? Why? Why? Going to do Chemistry (something i'm more confident in) revision later.
On a happier note, the Golden Compass 2 Disc DVD Platinum Edition has been finally shipped. ETA: June. But i doubt it'll take that long. Most likely alot sooner, just like Serene's Hot Fuzz 3 Disc DVD Edition. Beginning to enjoy ordering items on Amazon. You should to! Why?

Okay! Back from Orchard!
Jonathan was completely uncontactable, as if he just evaporated from the face of the Earth. But he'll most likely be in school tomorrow. Then we'll see how fast he can evaporate before i hit him for being so rude! Heh.
So it was just Serene and I. The Speed Racer thing was disappointing. The Speed Racer and Race X look-a-likes were far from looking like the characters. They were both malay and the fake Racer X guy was fat. COME ON! Couldn't you at least hire caucasians!? Disappointed. Also! The Speed Racer wasn't wearing his signature helmet! The round one with a sleek 'M' on the front. The guy wore a motocycle helmet for pete's sake! Serene and I were to disgusted and embarrassed to even approach them to demand for the freebies, let alone take a picture with them for it. So we just did Video Store Surfing. Its fun. Still waiting to get The Golden Compass 2 Disc Platinum Edition DVD and the Cloverfield DVD. Might also consider getting the Transformers DVD, but the second hand ones they sell at Gramophone. But i guess not everyone is willing to let go of such a cool movie. You selfish pigs! Let the other selfish pigs have a go with the fun! Haha.
Doing Math now. Or WAS doing Math and will continue after this post.
