Focus Focus Focus. Boring like hell, except for Physics. I like SPA Skill 3 practices.
Hand Ball after Focus. Fun. Hot. Tiring. I tried being keeper when we were having "warm ups" but Jon, Joshua and Jin throw the ball like they want to pop your head off with it. Freaking brutes! But i'm going to give it another shot. I'm going to take the bullets, bite it AND love it. (I'll try.) Haha. So my team had Jenn, Tony, Joshua, Soh Jia Sheng, Shawn Ong and Charmaine. Our opponents were Alvin, Jin, Jon, Carol, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Jaclyn and Min Jia. We didn't keep track of the score. Tony has this really cool technique on how to score a goal even with Jon as the goalie. I wanna give it a shot. But my balls don't fly fast.
Walked to Clementi with Nicholas, Charmaine and Jenn.
Met Jessie at the bus stop near home. Went home and left shortly after for Jelita. Borrowed DVDs from Video Ezy: Be Kind Rewind, Juno and Darjeeling Limited. Then we looked around at Times. As we were leaving the store, Jessie saw her neighbour Daniel. He's weird. I don't quite like him, neither does Jessie (I think). Not one bit. So she was in a hurry to go home after I bought milk and bread from Cold Storage, she didn't want to board the same bus as him. I was slightly freaked out by Jessie's reaction and I started getting freaked out by Daniel. Luckily, bus 7 came just in time and delivered her from evil. Haha.

Some Sec 3 SCs had their EXCO interview today. Si Min, Syaheera, Jue Ying and I were there to ask questions and observe. The thing lasted till 4.50pm. We missed English Focus entirely. They were going through Oral, since the English O Levels is in two weeks. You really get to hear the views of the Sec 3s on the Student Population, the Student Council and how they would want to improve it. It's in these moments where there's this visible bond between the Student Councillors.
Mass Dance! I'm like trying suggest the entire school population do a Mass Dance on National Day Celebration or something! It'll be so awesome and fun! We're going to build a Tanglin spirit!
Why it sucks to be too tall: I was on bus 156, on my way home after tuition. This caucasian man, seemingly in his teens, boards off the bus. He taps his ez link card and tries to walk down in brisk style. But cos him being too tall, knocks his head at the "Door Closing" sign. The thud was really loud. No one laughed though, that'll just be cruel, unless its your closer friends. Than THAT will be funny. Speaking of bumping heads, Amanda complained about her forehead hurting cos she woke up in the morning and somehow her head slammed onto the table. Talk about a wake up call. Heh.
Oh, Serene had her DPA interview today. Fingers crossed, Serene! All the best! :D

Take a look at this uncensored assassination in one of Tanglin's very own filthy toilets! The smell of the rotting corpse would be masked by the stench of urine cakes and the stinky yellow-stained tiles.

The Joker: You look nervous. Is it the scars? You want to know how I got them? Come here. Hey, look at me. So I had a wife, beautiful; like you. Who tells me, I worry too much. Who tells me, I ought to smile more. Who gambles, and gets in deep with sharks. One day they carve her face. We have no money for surgeries. She can't take it! I just want to see her smile again. I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars. So I stick a razor in my mouth and do this... to myself. And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side. Now I'm always smiling!

The Joker: [speaking to Two-Face] Do I really look like a man with a plan, Harvey? I don't have a plan. The mob has plans, the cops have plans. You know what I am, Harvey? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one. I just *do* things. I'm a wrench in the gears. I *hate* plans. Yours, theirs, everyone's. Maroni has plans. Gordon has plans. Schemers trying to control their worlds. I am not a schemer. I show schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So when I say that what happened to you and your girlfriend wasn't personal, you know I'm telling the truth. [hands Two-Face a gun]
The Joker: It's a schemer who put you where you are. You were a schemer. You had plans. Look where it got you. I just did what I do best-I took your plan and turned it on itself. Look what I have done to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple bullets. Nobody panics when the expected people get killed. Nobody panics when things go according to plan, even if the plans are horrifying. If I tell the press that tomorrow a gangbanger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will get blown up, nobody panics. But when I say one little old mayor will die, everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy, you upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I am an agent of chaos. And you know the thing about chaos, Harvey? It's fair. [with the gun in Two-Face's hand, he places the gun to his forehead; Two-Face pauses and takes out his coin]
Two-Face: [showing the unscarred side] You live.
The Joker: Mm-hm.
Two-Face: [flipping, showing the scarred side] You die.
The Joker: Now you're talking!

The Joker: [holding a knife inside Gamble's mouth] Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was....a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. Turns to me and he says "Why so serious?" Comes at me with the knife,"Why so serious?" He sticks the blade in my mouth. "Lets put a smile on that face!" And..... Why so serious?

Pushing Daisies at 10.30pm!

My mum's confiscating my phone for a week starting from 12am!

I wont reply any smses for a week. So just talk to me in person or give my house a ring.

It's time for... CYANIDE AND HAPPINESSS! :D

All ripped off from the explosm.com.

The Discovery Channel: I Love The World Song! It's AWESOME and fun to sing-along!

My family reached Vivo at 10.40pm. As we seated ourselves, I saw a distant handwave from Jennifer; seated with HER family in the middle row of the GV Max hall. The movie began at 11+pm, after a few ads and two trailers. The movie begins, sounds system both crystal clear and very loud.
Even this may be another time I've watched The Dark Knight. It's just as flavourful and exciting. You notice things you didn't the previous time you've watched it. Regretably though, I did close my eyes for brief moments during the Ferry Social Experiment scene. The movie ended at 1.30am.
Jennifer said that there were 4 vacant seats next to hers. Oh well.
Everyone says the movie was a worth watch. My father didn't recognise Christen Bale cos he was much skinnier than his prequel buff self in Batman Begins.

$235 or is it $135?

Came back from shopping with Mummy. Went to Bugis. We bought Liu Fan's birthday present and went snooping for watch designs. My mum is willing to buy an expensive one. But one that i'll wear like forever. So you know it's got to be metal. Swatch, Diesal, Adidas and Fossil. So many cool watches. I took lots of pictures to show my Watch Consultant, Alvin Christopher Teo Li Hoon. HAHA!

Late for Chem Focuse, again.

Played Volleyball with 4E2 after Focus-es. It was really fun. I hope we get to do that more often.

Going to Bugis with mum to buy clothes and a watch. Then heading down to Vivo City after that to watch The Dark Knight! Yes! GV Max at 11pm. Jenn's family will be there too!

Go Team Double J (Jenn and Jin)! Haha.
The badminton champion beneath the chem teacher exterior.
Jin serves.
Alvin posing. Why so serious, Alvin? Haha.
The Joker vandalised the basketball coury! Heh.

There was once the whole front row of girls starting screaming cos there was a cockroach in Ms Chu's homeroom. Haha. It was hysterical! Amaryllis jumped onto her chair screeching. LOL! Lucky she en't as tall as Jin or else she would've lost her head by now.

"I can make you pregnant now, bitch!" This was what Alvin said to Amaryllis during Chemistry today! Everyone was damn shocked before breaking into laughter and disgust. I'm not sure why he said that cos I was too diligently doing my Skill 3 assignment. I'm a good boy. Heh. Amanda told on Alvin about the whole fertilizisation threat to Amaryllis to Ms Chu. Ms Chu said that we should'nt tease Alvin so much or he'll be psychologically traumatized. Haha.

Mr Chan played Badminton with Alvin (swapped with Tony after a while), Jenn and Jin. He's quite good. He and Mr Tan also then played Hand Ball with us. It was the some of 4E2 and Mr Chan versus Tony, Jin, Jenn, Amanda, Charmaine, Mr Tan and I. Jenn did some awesome goal keeping. I didn't really get myself involved into the game. Just did defending and intercepting. Oh well.

Tomorrow is my blog's 2nd Birthday! I'm going to post something special!

Amanda is leaving for Bangkok tomorrow. Have fun, Muaves! You'll be missed! :D

Change is inevitable.

Came back from Spectacle Hut after collecting my new bi-weekly disposable contact lenses and new lens for my spectacles. Apparently, my degree increased quite a bit. You don't really realise when you where your specs cos you're so used to it and now with the new lens popped in, everything's back to High Definition. Crystal Clear! My mum didn't want me to change my spectacle frame cos she thinks that it's not worth since I don't wear my specs all the time. Bummer.

Had an fun day in school. Even though we were completing our last minute homework. It's nice to just sit and talk with friends. But i've probably told you this several times already.

Another day in life, another reason to live.

Watched The Dark Knight at West Mall with Naimah, Amanda, Jon, Jenn, Nick C., Rayney and Clement. It's really worthe the $6! The Joker is terrifyingly AWESOME!!! God, Heath Ledger is a genius. Too bad he en't going to be spreading the wealth any longer. Sad. Possibly my favourite character forever. And the Favourite Movie segment en't going to be changed any time soon! Haha. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! It'll put a smile on your face! With a disturbing feeling...

Neil showed this to me. Really funny. This indian guy singing to a song called "May I Fuck You?" Haha. It just sounds like that.

Oh. Stall 6 sold really good Mee Siam today. It's honestly delicious. I need more! And bacon! And those buttery shrimp nuggets at KFC!

A breed of idiots. :D
Grandma, Great Aunt, Grandpa and Mum. (R-L)

Dinner at Curry Wok again. My Grandma's Sis was there.
I miss that Friday. That 11th of April. Maybe things could be back the way they were.

Skipped Chem Focus for Math Tuition. Heard Mr Chan was jealous and Kah Heng quoted that we take his dedication for granted. Haha.

SS Focus seemed shorter today. I wish all Focus lessons were like that.

Accompanied Alvin to Jurong Point to get his present for his friend. He got this Perlini's Silver bracelet. It's quite cool (the shop not the bracelet). We ate lunch at KFC. Tried the new Value Meal thing. It's still a rip off! But i've got a craving for those butter shrimp nuggets now. Mmm... We went to Popular so Alvin could pass the present to her friend.

We took the train to Jurong East and did homework at the library while waiting for Nick and Jon. All of us then later spent our time at JEC.

Racial Harmony Day is 24 hours and 20 minutes away. There's this really big fuss about it. Some important visitors. Bummer. They push us around like dogs and yell at us in our faces in front of the entire school when they expect you to get things done without being informed of what to do. You wanna be an SC? You got to SaCrifice.

Everybody was Kung fu fighting!
Just the unsuspecting ones.

Disappointing yet eventfully fun.
There was no class today. For the first time, the sec 4s and 5s joined the other levels in the Tangling Workout in the morning. An RHD performance was held during school curriculum(?) time. Got yelled at by the Principal at every turn of the corner. Everyone's feeling the pressure. Jue Ying took over Si Min's place, cos Si Min was not feeling well in the morning. To be honest, when the Tanglin Workout was simulated during the first round of rehearsals, it was really impressive. Maybe its because of the numbers. But it was a great feeling to see all the Tanglin peeps doing it all together. This inspired me and Si Min to propose a National Day Mass Dance Routine and maybe it'll be tradition.
If it wasn't for volleyball inbetween the two rounds of rehearsal, I wouldn't have survived. Funny en't it cos volleyball re-energized me but yet i'm using my energy. It was Jon, Josh, Nich C., Alvin, Jin and Wei Kai versus Amanda, Jenn, Carol, Gina, Jaclyn and I. It was, as usual, fun. Competitive fun. Crowd of students leaned over the storeys surrounding the plaza to watch our little match. Cheering and jeering. Had a short walkthrough with Ms Foo of the whole event.
Another round of rehearsal the second time. Yet again, I had a short game of volley with Amanda, Jenn and I against Jon and Carol in the Parade Square and it made me feel relieved of all the stress. 2nd round of rehearsal. Ended at 4pm. Si Min, Ms Foo and I were teasing Ms Gan about how compatible she would look with Mr Jay. Ms Gan had the "Jin Tian De Tian Qi Hen Shao" line in her defence. I bet she told all the teachers about it. Henna stuff.

Left with Jenn to Orchard. Intended to watch Hellboy 2 but decided on The Dark Knight at Cine. We went there. It was a full house till 9pm. Decided to go Plaza Singapura to check. Told Jon (decided last minute) and Jessie to meet us there. Also fully booked. Argh. Jessie caught up with us. Went to The Cathay. Told Jon. ALSO no available seats (if you even count the front row as seats). Not even H2! We gave up. Went to Plaza to eat. It was really crowded. KFC, Macs, Burger King and Mos were all full. Met Jon and Carrefour. Walked a round a bit. Managed to get a table at Mos. Serene didn't eat cos she wanted to eat KFC. It was fun to eat and chat with them. I wish everyday would be like that. There was no awkwardness at all. Well, I didn't feel it. After Mos, the girls went to KFC so Serene could have dinner. There were limited seats so Jon and I walked around PS talking. It was fun as well. Went to meet the girls when they finished. There was this mix up. Jon and I went up the escalator when the girls were the level below. We went down and the girls went up. Cos the escalators were right next ti each other. We walked to the bus stop at Park Mall.
Bus 7 came, after we had were talking at the bus stop. It was really crowded. Jon, Jenn, Jess and I couldn't walk in time to board the bus and it left! But it was crowded anyway. Serene took her 111 home. Jessie had to eat her words cos she thought we were leaving first. We then threw jokes at one another and talked about lame stuff. Took the next 7 and went home.
I don't know why. Even if its as simple as a meal with friends or just a wait at the bus stop, when we have a lively and hilarious conversation, I get really satisfied with my day spent and label it a good day. I just really enjoy the company of good friends. I don't want these moments to end. Another awesome day.

To Serene- Argh, No movie! But I still hoped you had fun. :)

To Jessie- Wear a slightly longer skirt! It was great hanging out with you after so long. We'll do it more often, yea? :)

To Jenn- You gave birth to Volley 4E1'08! Thanks for everything! Hoped you also had a good time! :D

To Amanda- We'll watch TDK together! :)

To Naimah- Talk! Talk! Talk! Talk! TDK with you too! Awesomness bunnimess maximus! Haha.

To Si Min- We'll do our best on Monday! ;D

To Jon- Thanks, Punk! For stuff. Yea. Heh.

To Neil- You lucky cad! Don't you dare spoil The Dark Knight for me! Haha! XP

Just came back from dinner at Curry Wok. They've got the best fish head curry and pork knuckles there! It's like a family store of home-cooked food. Really delecious.

Felt like shit the entire day of school. Fuck. What the hell is going on?

Played volleyball after school. It was just Carol, Amanda, Jenn and I. It was damn funny. We changed team mates and each time we did, we came up with a victory dance or something. I didn't really create one with Carol. Next time, yea? Jenn and mine was this hand-gun-shooting-twice-spin-and-swing-five thing. Inspired by Wanted. Each time we hit the ball out, we would put our hand pistols to our heads and shoot ourselves. Haha. Amanda came up with this Indian head shake thing, ending with a kunckle punch when she was on my team. Amanda crapped alot with her Indian accent saying things like: "Always an apple, never an orange." and "Butter rolls and sashimi.". I suck at accents and its really cool to have different accents. Haha. Volleyball is awesome. Felt awesome after the game.

The Dark Knight and Hellboy II this week!

Mother Tongue O Levles Listening tomorrow. Nervous? I'm not sure. Can't tell. It's just listen and do to me, if I even understand what i'm listening to.

Pushing Daisies was barking mad (pun)! Haha. It's such an awesome show.

HAPPY 16th/17th? BIRTHDAY SI MIN AND VICHAYA!

THE DARK KNIGHT OPENS IN CINEMAS ALL OVER THE WORLD THIS WEEK! Expect me to laugh or smile to thin air. Cos when I do, i'm just getting geekgasms over the premiere! Can't wait to see The Joker in action! *grins*

I wish things were back to how they were.

"I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger." -The Joker (Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight)

"You know, there's a big world out there filled with desperate orphans who would gladly swim across an ocean of thumbtacks just to be eclipsed by the long shadow that is cast by my accomplishments." -Count Olaf (Jim Carrey, A Series of Unfortunate Events)
