MTL Paper 1 and SS were sucky. English Paper 1 was fun! Haha!
IT'S DANIEL'S BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry we didn't make it any grander, but at least the whole class sang you the birthday song after the paper! ;D
After the SS paper today, went to Ayer Rajah to eat with Jin, Carol, Amanda, Jonathan, Joshua, Sya, Jolene, Nicholas, Tony, Rayney, Shermond and Clement. Horlick Bing again!
Went to meet Serene at Red Hill MRT station after to go to Bugis. Serene wanted to go look for her Shaun of the Dead comic but decided to order it online instead. It'll probably cost alot cheaper. I went for a Region 1 Golden Compass Shiny Gold 2 Disc Edi conquest. But it failed. FAILED! Went to like 5 different Video Stores to finally tell myself to give up. Going to order it online too! May also be cheaper. God Bless Amazon.com!
Ditched Serene at the City Hall (was it?). Heh.
Went to Amanda's place to play with Joshua, Jonathan, Amanda, Clement and Jin. Play TENNIS, i mean. First spotted Joshua working out at the Gym. Heh. Went up to the tennis court. Bleeding hot! Tried a few rounds of tennis. I'm starting to get the hang of hitting the ball within the court! Yay! Its kinda fun. I wanna play again!
Joshua left early (he was late).
The rest of us started playing in the Gym with those huge blue aerobic balls. Had a game of dodge ball, interrupted by the brief use of the Gym equipment. It was fun. Smashed Amanda's face with it! >:D
Jon and Jin have body odour. This guy at the pedestrian crossing actually stood back, repulsed by Jon's over-whelming body stink. Haha. Poor guy (the guy who suffered nasal concussions, not Jonathan. Wheehehhehheh!)
Had great fun today! Lots of exercise! But gotta get back on track with revision. Played like it was a holiday. Heh. FOCUS! FOCUS! FOCUS!

Went for lunch with Amanda and Jin. It was fun. Saw this ACS guy, with his younger brother, walk past our table. He rolled his eyes when we were looking at him. Maybe he rolls his eyes to look away or something (like some genetic birth defect) but i don't see why he should have done it intentionally, unless he's some egotistical self-important shit head. I hope it was a misunderstanding.
Quite dead serious about doing fairly well for MYEs. And I hope you guys are too!

I've been having this bad rash lately. Mum says i should abstain from prawns and cockles. I'm starting to regret the previous luches i had with the rest, scarfing down hokkien mee before mtl oral. But its really good stuff! Cost a bomb though. A mini-bomb.
Went to eat at Botak Jones after Bio FOCUS. Woke up late, so i saw no point in rushing for Chemistry FOCUS. Mr Chan would've have had a mouthful! Heh. After FOCUS, waited in school with Amanda for Jin and Joshua who were at the NJC Math thing. They made us wait for quite a while. Its nice to be with friends in school when its all quiet and deserted. It makes you miss the times you've spent learning and growing there. <=/
Went to wait at the Clementi Mrt station cos Joshua said they were on their way. Amanda was damn annoying! She kept repeating nonsense like: "Am I annoying? Am I annoying" *poke poke* "Am I irritating? Am I irritating?" *poke poke some more* "Jin's here... JUST KIDDING! Jin's here... JUST KIDDING!" *poke poke again and again*. She said she would only stop if Jin really arrived. It was agonizing! But its a great way to test your tolerance levels. Thanks ALOT Amanda! ;D
Jin and Josh arrives but Jin forgets to ask Yammuna along, since she was with them at the Math thing and we were short of people cos most of them just disappeared after Bio FOCUS.
Botak Jones' food was good! I ordered the Botak Burger with Cheese Set, Josh and Jin ordered the Fish & Chips and Amanda the Chilli Dog Set. The meat patty in the burger was tasty and filled with meaty juices! Really great experience eating it. It tasted a little smoky though. The Dory was nice as well. Amanda's was the biggest! Her sausage was this 7-inch wiener? Haha. Its was massive! The bread couldn't even wrap it but acted as a bed to the huge dog. The chilli dressing was tasty. Tasted kinda Idiany though (Not a racist statement, its cos of the type of spice in it). Amanda had trouble trying to start to eat it without lookin obscene. LOL! Its okay Amanda, we understand. Haha. The chillie dog was delicious too. However, the whole lunch cost $32 in total. Really expensive. So I have to say i'm a Crazy Ang Mo Hugger and a Botak Jones Basher. Haha.
Had a great time. But too bad it didn't last long cost all of us were feeling tired and wanted to go home and take naps. Cat naps. =)
Didn't do studying so far. Spent too much time sleeping and watching Hidalgo! In a state of temporal panic. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Okay. Its over, no more panic. Going to eat dinner now.

Its Jin's Sexxxy 17th Birthday today! I felt that we did not do enough for him! He deserves more than that. Its just that we didn't have enough time. But just you wait, Henry Higgins! Just you wait! Haha. Its a movie reference of My Fair Lady. Its a very nice musical comedy starring Audrey Hepburn (and GOSH! She's pretty hot then!) who also starred as Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie movie (that's why she sounds so familiar!) YES JIN! We're going to make you birthday so eventful, you won't forget it! And this goes out to all me good pals as well, i'll try my best! =)
Played intensive Netball today. We should make it a class sport! :D However, SOME people (YES! THAT'S YOU JOSHUA! HAHA! xD) who prefer to play other mundane sports like SOCCER! LOL! Joking. We do still want to foster 4E1 cohesion while we can!

My aim is going bad! Not that its been really good, but i can't score the occasional shots! I also felt the shortest guy amongst the other players (mostly cos of Jin, Tony and Shermond), which sets me thinking about something i won't post. Heh.
I'll miss all the good times i've had in Tanglin. It may be a sucky school, but F*CK THAT! I LOVE TSS and ALL MY FRIENDS THERE! =] So let's all try to get into the same school (i want to get into a JC btw)! Don't ever change the way you are! :')

We went to some animal clinic at Sunset Way to book an appointment to sterilise my two pussies. HAHA! Had to write down the names of the cat. Was under pressure to whip up a cool name for Cow (no longer) and i came up with Udon. Kinda shitty, huh? I now realised i could've called in Chawanmushi and nick named it Chawa. Kawaii! Haha.

Yesterday was great fun. Chemistry Focus was, again, boring. Mr Chan still yells at us cos we do our spa practical 'too slowly', when he comes late. We did QA.
Jin, Carol, Gina, Yu Duan, Carol, Tony, Jennifer, Amanda, Alvin and I (NAMES ARE NOT IN ANY SPECIFIC ORDER, Amanda! Lol.) stayed back. Played some netball (short-lived) and went opposite to eat. I don't think its wise to talk about what happened at Ayer Rajah (?) but let me sum up the event- Amanda was kick ass, Miss Chu the lifesaver and Jennifer with the cold hard glare.
I went home after eating and slept. Would be meeting Jonathan at 3.45pm at JEC to finalise the shirt designs. Clement turned up with him. The previous time we went there was this young lady and she wasn't very helpful. However, the shop owner (a slightly older lady. dubbed Lucy.) was there with the previous shop assistant (dubbed Sally) yesterday. Get it? Sally was being abnormally nice to us with Lucy around. Suck up! Haha. She even unfolded chairs for us to seat, when the other time we went she didn't seem to care. How nice. Heh. Lucy was really helpful. We got the design we wanted and it didn't cost us extra. Yay! Not sure if i can post the design pics cos its their own stensils. Oh well, obey copyright laws.We met Nicholas shortly and headed to Ngee Ann City to watch the Creative Percussion group perform. Some Eco something something something concert '08. They were good. Real good. Pei Jin was asked a question! The host asked him how long they've been practicing and he said '4 years'. Guess you kinda crack under pressure. Haha. Saw Jennifer, Syaheera, Nico, Edrik Jon, some-other-people-i-don't-see-a-point-typing-down and Rebecca. They went to Cineleisure after to watch West Grand Boulevard =X But Jon, Nick, Clem and I stayed back to help carry bins and hitched a ride with the percussion troupe back to school. Ms Chu and her fiance was there. So sweet. Haha.
Jin and Joshua couldn't meet up with us to go watch a movie. Reached school. Had a hilarious conversation with Ms Chu, Jon, Nick, Naimah and Clement. We were have an important and intense discussion about Clement's obsession over Mei Yern. Haha. (She's the reason why he goes to church :D Joking.) Ms Chu drove off with her fiance in their tight little red car. Aren't they a happy couple? Waited for the bus. Pre-occupied ourselves with cam whore traditions. Haha. Took the bus. Had another hilarious conversation with me peeps about pedophiles, Amaryllis and Tony. Haha. Won't go into the explicit details. Heehee! Watched the 8.30pm Forbidden Kingdom. Sat in the second row from the screen. Neck cramps! Jon said he was giddy after the movie, guess its cos of the blood flow to his brain. Haha. The movie was mediocre. Not crap, but mediocre. You can't twist much of the myth Journy to the West, but i thought they did a good job. Quite enjoyed the movie. Just watch it for the fun with friends, kick asss kung-fu action, the Jacky Chan and Jet Li showdown and the Assassin with White Hair. She's damn cool! I'm putting her in my list of favourite villains. I'm not sure why, but i prefer female baddies than male. Unless the guy is really evil and sadistic or ridiculously obnoxious like Count Olaf. I'm giving this movie a 3 1/2 stars. Watch it in theatres or on dvd Either way, its all good. Just have fun! :)

This is the expected Cloverfield DVD layout. ETA: 22nd April 2008. It is a really fantastic movie and i'm not just saying it just because it has action in it. Its a rare movie that actually takes the viewers into the movie. I really admire J.J. Abrams (also the director of the highly anticipated movie by mostly Trekkies, Star Trek ETA: 2009) for making such great movies! The cinemaphotgrapher compliments the whole idea of keeping you in suspense and making it seem life-like and realistic (making it seem as if the whole movie was an actual recording of real sequence of tragic events). I suggest those who have not seen this movie and plan on watching it once the DVD release to go read up on what the movie is about (which is kinda difficult cos much of the plot is not said. Even the blurb on the DVD is of few words!) and what you can expect from it. You have to be mentally prepared and strong (for those prone to motion sickness). It'll be a good movie experience if you bought or rented this movie and watch it cos it really is a refreshing experience, away from your other stereo-typical movies. Watch the Blair Witch Project as well. Around the same cinemaphotography and idea but focusing on a more down to Earth and horrific tale. ; )

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is how i pictured the dvd cover should be like and said if it turned out what i wanted it to be, i'll get it (plus with worthy and sufficient special features). It turned out to be classier than i expected! WOW! Its a beautifully designed dvd cover! It also contains about 2 1/2 hours of special features which is a prety good darn deal to me for my $34.99! Its so shiny! 8D However, this is the American one. The region 3 (Singapore) version should be less impressive and not as shiny. Aye. Shiny. On the other hand, I have to admit that the movie was quite a disappointment, but i'm going to give the sequel (and there better be one cos i don't like people leaving movie trilogies left undone!) a chance to redeem the His Dark Trilogy honour and glory. You can't really blame viewers for being critical on the Golden Compass as directors like Peter Jackson have brought reknownly loved movies like The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and boy! did that set the bench mark!

Lets hope the same amount of Special features are still intact.

Okay. I'm going to start keeping everything to myself. I'm going to stop making my emotions visibly predictable.

I dropped it on my way to tuition and the side broke! x( I'm sorry Jaclyn! It wasn't intentional ('she's doing her best')! I'll just glue it back together again, bit i'm afraid Mario will chew the sides and swollow the ceramic chips and possibly die from indigestion! If only we know what they're feeling and not mine.

I'm such a freak. I've been reading through my past post of the year 2006 and realised how far i've sunk into a 'vortex of despair'(quoting from Kai Heng once again. Haha.)! I used to get grades like 31/40 in secondary 2 and i considered it to be a fail. However, NOW i am really failing- preferably chinese and physics- and yet i dont give a damn! >:0

I've gotta start motivating myself like Amanda is and start WANTING to score well for every single subject. Painfully, but yes including chinese.

More stuff on what happened on the 11th at "Doug's" Party.
I didn't know who were invited to the party. I was late and took the 7.45pm bus when i should've been at Faber Crest at 7. Heh. Saw Yamunna while waiting for the shuttle bus. She was carrying a hand bag, now thats a rare sight! Haha. GIna came later and said she was going for the party but waiting for Jaclyn. Jaclyn turns up in make-up and stilletoes(?). Took the shuttle bus. Reached Faber Crest and find Amanda, Jin, Joshua, Carol and Jennifer there already. Alvin smses me apologising that he couldn't attend my party and wished me a Happy Birthday. Well Alvin my poor boy, you kinda answered my suspicion. Haha. Innocent mistake. Went outside and ate pizza hut. They set up this pizza cake. Awww... so sweet... and delicious! Haha. I'll post the pictures next time. Played and ate at the playground. When inside after the dinner to play Guitar Hero III on Ales's Wii. WHEEE! Getting the hang of it but still i still suck. Carol, Jaclyn and Gina had to leave early. When we started to watch Across the Universe (Which is awesome by the way but kinda draggy. Bless the Beatles.), Si Min popped up. She came from her Grandma's place cos it was her Grandma's Birthday. She entered with a paper bag clipped up with three clips. She hands it to me with a Happy Birthday. Held the bag and it was slightly heavy and warm! She asked me what i thought it was and i answered it correctly! They were two kittens! The excitement put the movie on halt, which we never continued watching, and made us play with the kittens in Amanda's room. One is entirely black while the other is white with black patches. Was kinda worried cos i was afraid i wouldn't be able to take good care of the kittens cos no.1 They might run away like Squid did. no.2 Parents might not allow. and no.3 There might be no space at my house. I named the black one Kimchi and the white-black one Cow (always wanted to name a cat that ;]). Father came to pick us up and drop Jin, Joshua and Si Min at Clementi. It was a fun night. Really touch and appreciate their efforts. :) Especially to Amanda's Mum.
Today.
Went for Chemistry FOCUS and did shitty Titration. Mr Chan was late. The practical seemed extra draggy but i'm most certain it was. Mr Chan had fluctuations of his emotions. One minute he would burst out yelling at how we wasted the chemicals supplied (BA6, BA7, P and Q), the next he would be smiling and joking with us. After practical, we went opposite to eat. Came back around 12. Suppose to hand out with Adelyn at my place. Waiting for Jessie to finish her practical. Played Snakes and Ladders with Serene. She beat me 3-2! LUCKY! :/ For a game so simple, it was really intense. Haha. Left the SC room and realise the whole of 4E2 practical was over. Called Jessie and found out that she left without us cos she thought we were already at my place but we were waiting in school! Met Adelyn (late, cos we waited for Jessie for nothing) at Clementi Interchange. Took the bus to my place and met Amin at the bus stop. Jessie told us that she couldn't make it cos her mum didn't allow. Ate lunch and watched Across the Universe (the entire movie). After the movie, i had to get cat shampoo cos the kittens were in desperate need of a bath. So we went to Holland V. Took the bus 970. Here's when it got really hilarious! We were standing on the bus and Adelyn was shifting her weight constantly (you can't blame her, its cos she's so big) and when the bus turned, she lost her balanced and crushed this guy in a hat whom was reading his book! She fell on him! Poor man. She apologised but i think it lacked sincerity. After all, she sandwhiched him to his seat! He was friendly and just gave a smile, showing he accepted her apology. We will definitely not let her forget this one! Haha. Stopped by at Frolick to get some yoghurt. Yummy. However, we didn't get those cool badges. Serene wasn't to happy about it cos they also short-changed her by ten cents. Haha. She vowed not to go but yoghurt from them again unless she gets the "Cereal Killer" badge as compensation. Heh. I bought the shampoo and extra hamster stuff at Pet Lovers' Centre. Went back to my place to bathe Kimchi and Cow. Started off with Cow. Quite a stubborn little critter, wouldn't quit squirming. Kimchi, on the other hand, didn't meow at all(:/), but it did claw the sides of the tub. They smelled real good after the bath. Listened to the Across the Universe soundtrack that my mum purchased for my sis before she left for UWA. They left at around 7.30. Had fun.

Watched Horton today with Serene at... VIVO! Heh heh. We had Math FOCUS (boring sh*t man!) today, so we had to watch the 7.15pm movie cos there were like only 2 time slots- 12.05pm and 7.15pm. Its a great movie! Touching, Hilarious, Full of Morals and Ryhmes! "I meant what I said, I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful one hundred percent." Haha. Again, the Whos are brought into the story. Just like in the Grinch and now Horton, they live in the most ridiculous places! A snowflake and spore speck respectively. Serene said the ending was kinda like MIB2, the locker scene. The little yellow fluff with teeth and behaves like a air-head freaks me out (which Serene said was cute, at first sight.)! It would like yawn and that make people go 'AWWWWW!'. Its seriously freaky! Its like a Gremlin but with fur and less intelligent and more cartoon-ey. Cute my ass! It ate the leaf insect thing! Its REALLY STUPID! The purple monkeys were scary too! They're evil. The only monkeys i like are the black spider monkeys, the one in POTC ,'coincidently' named Jack, and the Mrs Coulter's Daemon. However before the movie began, they were showing trailers- KUNG-FU PANDA, ICE AGE 3 and SPEEDRACER! Kung-fu Panda made us laugh like shit. So did Ice Age 3. The NEW Speedracer trailer made us freak out like high school girls seeing a good-looking jock. Haha. We were literally have Geek-Spasms! Its A-W-E-S-O-M-E! It's another MUST GET! DVD on my MUST-GET! DVD list. N-E-O-N-F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G-A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! You'd freak out even if you weren't a Geek! Except for specky idiots called nerds.

After school, went with Jessie and Serene to watch RUN FAT BOY RUN! Haha. Its a very touching family movie packed with good fun, and it only cost us 6 dollar each! Bless those student prices! Its nice to just catch up on things and go out just the three of us. Like the good ol' days. Haha. These are the things i'll miss once Secondary school life ends. Hope i get in to a reasonably good JC with my friends. Well, Jenn labeled me a 'Nerd'. Trying to ignore that as an insult but i guess its time to do what all other specky idiots do best, STUDY! Urgh. It hurts just to think of it!
WOOHOO! The Golden Compass DVD is coming out soon! REAL SOON! Getting Geek-gasms, and YES i'm a geek not a nerd.

It's the first birthday present i've received this year and to make it even better, it's from my two good ol' Fairfield primary friends- Tiffany and Theodore! THANKS ALOT, GUYS! :D
Watched Deathproof today and Sereno's after tuition. Its reeeeaaaally awesome!!! Its totally filled with sinful goodies like gore, violence and explicit content! Quentin Tarantino's ingenius cinemaphotgraphy(?) is evident in this movie. Although the plot drifts from one thing to another, it is still a movie to watch if you're desperate for a good time.
Amanda smsed me that she went for a 'spin' on the Singapore Flyer today. Lucky girl! She gets to experience everything! E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!
Still not over the missing the whole WGB performance thing. I know the sec 4s and 5s had homeroom instead of the concert, for God knows what reasons, but i totally missed the chance of even meeting them! If i were there, i would've ran to the hall right after homeroom period and tried to get their autographs of something. :(

Last minute Fencing Epee Inter-School Competition tomorrworlds.ow. I get to leave school early, but i may miss the WGB performance, if they're even coming down to perform.

April Fools. How exciting. Attempted to play a prank on Jenn. Jin and I tried to get the participation of our classmates to ignore Jenn for the entire day, but Jenn was oblivious to everything (too pre-occupied with her own schemes to notcie). So we had to call off Operation "Ignore Jenn". Pity. The only April Fools prank i fell for, and i hardly recieved any, was by Jacclyn. She sms-ed me that there was triple science FOCUS tomorrow. Well, i hardly pay attention in class and to what happens the next day at school anyway unless it perks my interest- for example, the Health Check-up perhaps?
Edrik Jon said West Grand Boulevard is going to perform in school this Thursday! Not sure if its true but still, i'm really excited! :D Hope it isn't for nothing.
