TGIF! Mondays are the worst days of the week! All three sciences on one day! Talk about baggage overload! Well, its gonna be a looong weekend, cause Youth Day's on monday. OH JOY OF JOYS, OH DREAM OF DREAMS!
Now, i am officially permitted to rent canoes. WOOHOO!!! If you've been wandering why i've been uncontactable or not replying your tags for the past 2 days, i've been taking canoeing courses. Its a 1 star course for beginners to learn how to canoe and life skills of kayaking. It was a Changi Water Venture. Its tiring and fun. And the bad thing is, its been rather hot the pass few days. So i've got tons of sunburn. But less on my face cause i brought i cap. Kayaking seems simple, but the proper ways to manoeuvre a kayak is really difficult. The sea water was quite polluted. Tons of rubbish. I saw a small sponge ball which looks like a soccer ball, two dead fishes, plastic bags, water bottles, tons of seaweed and a CONDOM! Cause i was just like picking anything that looked interesting and i saw it, but i only realised what it was when i fully inspected it. Its my second time seeing one but my first touching one. It felt a slimy, either cause of the lubricant or *oh my!*. Haha. With my new discovery, i can infer that people do have sex in the sea no matter how uncomfortable. Yeah. So thats pretty much it about canoeing. I got a certificate, met nice people and had tons of fun.
I'm too lazy to type down what happened. ARGH! School starting soon, homework not going to be completed any time soon. Korean is dang confusing but fun to learn with friends. Stay over was fun, for me. Today was a great day. I went to Times at Funan IT mall, and there was this book called 'What Man Know About Woman' and it was blank. It cost $10 est. Its good for laughs but so not worth it. Special thanks to my friends:
Went to Science Center today. Kinda a last minute arrangement. So only Ed and I could make it. Oh well. He hasn't seen Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer yet, so we booked tickets for the 3.00pm show at JEC. This would be the THIRD time i'm watching it. :D Science Center under went some renovations. Its better than before. Well, gtg. Sis needs to use the com. I never get bored of watching Fantastic 4 2. :D Hope you enjoyed yourself Ed!
Okay, yesterdays STEP IN THE ZONE PLANET SHAKERS concert was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY AWESOME! It was my first rock/sermon concert i've been to and i enjoyed myself tremendously! The queueing however was close to unbearable. We queued from 3-6.35. It was hot, humid, overcrowded and hot. But because there was and overcrowd, we got shade. >:D The queueing and waiting made me and jennifer regret coming, but the concert changed our minds. We got pretty good seats. I met and made friends there. Kinda talked to this guy named Lance, i think he's sec 4, who sat next to me. Jennifer said people were over friendly. But that is what i like about the place. :D I get MORE friends WITHOUT using a single lollipop. LOL! Syaheera would say 'More lollipops, more friends', cause at NDP people kept begging her for lollipops. So yeah, get it now? The songs were AWESOME. The sermon was AWESOME. And i got this bible/magazine which is COOL and AWESOME. In the end, i didn't regret going. Adrian went there as well with Malcolm and Matthew. I saw Joel Tang and Kenneth Liu, who are old Fairfield Primary friends of mine. So... THANKS GRACE FOR INVITING ME! YOU ROCK! :D
Okay. Yesterday:
Went to do some STUFF with Shu Da, Royston and Hui Geok today. Met Shu Da and Royston at Clementi station at 1. Took the train to Toa Payoh . Waited for Hui Geok. Went to Popoular to get STUFF. But didn't get anything in the end. Went to Sake Sushi at Toa Payoh Entertainment Center. We had the Buffet which was $16 for students. Kinda cheap. The food there was good. Ate tons of sushi and the steamed-egg-thing-that-i-forgot-what-it-was-called. But the "FUN" or should i say "EXCITEMENT" only started towards the end of the meal. We played 'Please can you follow me', the crossed-hand game and 'Concentration'. The loser for any round had to eat sushi coated thickly with wasabe and soy sauce. Yummy. We played till 6, which is when the buffet ends, so we had tons of rounds and tons of losers that had to eat wasabe coated sushi. We all wanted Shu Da to lose cause he was laughing at us all the time. Really fun but painful experience. We went to the arcade later. Played the basketball game. Hui Geok and i paired up and Shu Da and Royston were team mates. We won. But mostly cause Hui Geok had exceptional net ball skills. I missed more than she did. We had a score of 215, they had 87 (if i'm not wrong). Yeah. Really fun day. I'm REALLY HAPPY now. Haha.
Dangerous things around us:
Okay. Back from the RJC Science Camp. I miss it. It was really fun. I met and made terrific friends, who are...:
Photos of the Sentosa Outing. I'm too lazy to post all the pics so i made a collage of it. (is collage the right word? whatthehey) Tomorrow is day 2 of the RJC Science Camp. Day 1 was fun but it could've been MORE fun without the lectures. Tomorrow morning, we'll be having an ecotrail at McRitchie Resevoir. The evening would be a nighttrail at a cemetery organised by the some Singapore Paranormal Organisation. Still spooked by Y2Y but still excited to go. Didn't regret going for this camp. ENJOY THE PICS! =)
Okay. I'm to lazy to write about the Y2Y camp in detail. But it was AWESOME! Even though some people say it was a total failure. Oh well. Tomorrow is the beach outing thing! SOAK UP THE SUN, BABE!
