It's 1.39am. Just came back from the "Chronicles of Narnia" Charity Screening. We didn't do much ushering cos people knew where they wanted to seat (free seating) and they had enough common sense not to leave empty in between the row. Serene and I sat third row from the front, towards the extreme right of the screen. Quite uncomfortable, but the Transformers movie experience beat it to the "Worst positions to watch a movie" title (we were practically lying down and facing up to the screen). This sequel has less substance than the first movie. But it does have alot cooler scenes and it also shows that Narnians do not ALWAYS win a battle (Unless its the grand finale ;D). Prince Caspian the movie is alot darker than the previous and with LESS happy and more badass animals. Apparently this time round, mice are the size of adult men shoes in Narnia and Centaurs are Blacks. Hmmm... The fight scenes are way cooler and the cinematography is much better and more beautiful than its predecessor (Well done, Andrew Adamson. Narnia is more scenic in the Summer. The Penvensie Four are more grown up and some of them try to be too grown up. Some people get a little too bossy and egotistical. Hey, no one stays High King forever, Peter.
I liked this movie quite alot and i'm struggling to stay faithful to Speed Racer. They're equally my favourite(s). So i decided to put BOTH Speed Racer and The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian in my "Favourite Movie(s)" list. When I watched as the credits rolled, i couldn't but help feel depressed cos its really sad that the Penvensies have to leave Narnia and well, lets just say the ultimate ending isn't going to be a happy one. (Subtle Spoiler) The Chronicles of Narnia has always left me sad as it reminds you that good things always have to come to an end and you have to go home.
Gotta snooze, have to report to school at 8am tomorrow... I MEAN, today.
Oh wait! "I left my new torch back in Narnia!"
